I'd love to have the full time job by which I drop my kid for the start of school then pick him up at the end 27hrs tops . Full time?

Why do you think you have to drop off and pick up at school times? Ever heard of after school clubs?
-
Not all schools have them and my child on the autism spectrum wouldn't cope with an after school club.
-
Most schools do. Even if 1 parent works part time, perfectly able to feed their kids breakfast, so what is the point you're trying to make?
-
If there were two parents they wouldent be single parents would they

I see. So your entire perception of single mums is based on a close family member? Does the family leave her to fend alone?
-
No. It's based in extensive reading, research & interviews.

if she works full time, she isn't feeding her child, her nanny probably is!
-
Her child goes to school. You've heard of them, right?
-
You are so arrogant and condescending it's untrue. If you worked with me in my world you wouldn't need extensive research!

The argument I know someone that can do it is idiotic and you know that

If I say to you I know someone that swam across the English Channel then I must be able to do it

Good for her. Some single mums earn £50K and some single mums earn £18K. The latter will struggle. How is this a difficult concept?
-
The problem is it's become too OK to be a single mum on a low income. People don't try to avoid this bad situation as much as they used to.
-
Nobody dreams of this life. But people end up there for any number of reasons. Should their kids starve bc of that?
-
A lot of those reasons are probably preventable. Such as choosing the right man, choosing not to start families before finding stability
-
So ... children shouldn't eat if their mums choose the "wrong" man, is what you're saying.
-
Yes, they should eat, but really the parents or guardians should be responsible for that.
