Your argument is attention grabbing rubbish, you know why we need foreign doctors - cost. People are reluctant to take on that debt.
-
-
-
No they aren't. Brits with the right grades are turned away from doing medicine degrees by the limit on numbers.
-
And the limit on numbers is because of...cost? Why else would it be? Your inference that open Britain was implying we're stupid was petty.

They prefer 2 save on training costs and steal from abroad.Meantime EU students take up places here then leave without paying.Makes sense

How can foreign students afford to train but not Uk students?... are they really training to the same standards?

Not sure how I've ended up in this conversation when my question was to JHB?

Because, like in large parts of West Eur, the young find it demeaning to wash shit and tend to the weak and old.
-
There is considerably more to Nursing than that.

Limit on training doctors, to preserve high pay, have resulted in shortages that have to be filled by recruiting abroad. Senseless.

Double number of training places. Require schools to take *all* qualified UK applicants before a single overseas one is accepted

Open Britain just want cheap labour and access to Luxembourg's low tax rates But we are all stupid and don't know that

Cheaper for UK to import staff whose training was paid for by poorer countries. Also immoral.

Also, does it bother them that the best medics from other countries leave those countries, thereby damaging their healthcare?

You're acting stupid. Nobody is preventing British ppl to train as dr & nurses. Fact is we where we are; not enough of them without EU ones
-
Many kids with fantastic A level grades do not get offered a place on a medical degree course.
-
So you think they reject Brit kids & instead prioritise EU kids?
-
Don't see how you came to that conclusion.
-
Well argument is that nhs has all these EU drs & nurses and JBH was arguing that we shld train our own.
-
And I said we are artificially reducing the number of trainee doctors, which is the problem.
-
I don't think they artificially reduce numbers. I think our schools are not producing enough of good applicants, btw I work in education
-
I disagree.
