Ta Julia! Cuz although I can be arsed to march for miles & hours protesting, I'm deffo too lazy to pop to the local polling centre. #logic

Julia is wrong. Last year 18-24 only fractionally less likely to vote than JHB's age group

No, those figures are for REGISTERED voters, not all those entitled to vote. Most young people don't vote. Facts, eh?
-
Here are some facts: http://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/journalist/electoral-commission-media-centre/news-releases-reviews-and-research/levels-of-electoral-registration-have-stabilised-since-2011,-new-research-shows … and they are not as bad as you make out. Younger people move around more, to be expected
-
I moved around but I always voted. Always. Most you people don't.
-
Congratulations. So have I. Stop haranguing young people and make the conversation inclusive & less acidic then MAYBE more would vote.
-
God, but you're tiresome.

Hey Julia, "lazy" 23 year old here
Thanks for the generalisation
can't believe you managed to sum up an entire age range in a sentence -
sweetheart, look at the facts (you've heard of them, right?) MOST of your age group don't bother voting. So what is your point?
-
I'm fairly certain (anecdotally) the ones who go out to protest are the ones who are voting.

I'll give them a headstart: life skill #1 never ever ever vote Tory.

Sorry , the postal vote needs returning to the infirm , housebound and the serving military abroad . The present system is too open to abuse
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@NONCSM 18-24 YOs who go on marches also go and vote. The error is to think they represent in any way the majority of 18-24 YOs - 1 more reply

Never forget during the referendum the interviews with 20 year olds who thought there'd be a polling booth at Glastonbury

Your premise is wrong. 18-24 yr inclination to vote was only slightly less than your own age group!

Moreover, if you are genuinely interested in encouraging younger people to vote it helps not to be patronising.
