But what bad grace. Good lord! He is also hardly retiring just giving up part of his work!

he's not dead!
-
Exactly. Her comment is slightly accurate but it is graceless. Given his years of hard work for others which he at 95 is only doing less of
-
hard work? Lol
-
being civil to some of the people he's made to encounter must be challenging
-
Every gaff he made played and replayed. Every charming remark rushes on the floor. Damns the media

Can't agree with you there. It is snivelingly pathetic.
-
It's spiteful
-
She has deleted it !!
-
Only because of criticism I expect - afraid of her election chances.
-
Too late for her so many people have screen shot it .....
-
A spiteful piece of work. I remember last tume I saw him and HM Queen at Bristol docks we were standing alone and had great smiles from both

What's "waspi"?
-
#waspi is a cohort of women born in 1950s who had their pension age raised without notice leaving them without financial security -
Had lots of notice! Affects me, but men die years earlier than women and have had to work 5 years longer. Equality for decades, so very fair

maybe not, but most decent folk don't make cheap points about 95 year old war heroes. https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2003/dec/28/monarchy.davidsmith …

Except it was spiteful and childish. Also what planet were the waspi ladies on that they didn't know retirement age was going up? Fake
-
They were given no notice, so unable to plan in advance for financial security
-
Utter tosh they got notice and were able to plan in advance
-
I'm 61, I knew in 1995, but there are women who say they had no idea about the increase in SPA for women. I'm amazed, but I believe them.
-
I knew years ago that my retirement was raised to 67 I'm no one special HMRC would not just tell me.
-
Totally agree I was born in 1952 and one of those first affected, 1950 to 1955, retirement from 60 to 65, I knew many years ago. No excuse
-
At first, I couldn't believe how anyone could not know after 20+ years, but, many women say they had no time to watch tv or read newspapers
-
Sorry I'm not a socialist I think everyone has the personal responsibility to ensure they stay informed about stuff
