Your argument is that someone who is 18 is more capable of making a decision than someone who is 17.5. Is there evidence for that?

Neuroimaging has shown adolescent brain devt continues into 20s. Ergo probably more appropriate to raise, rather than lower, age of majority

Your advocacy for the "wisdom and maturity" of <18s suggests you must also disagree with, eg, outcome of Roper v Simmons.
