        Someone believes in voodoo economics. The national debt was doubled because he inherited a trillion $ deficit.

        The last thing he could really focus on wad balancing the books, he had to stop the economy from going into a depression, so bailouts.

        Naturally that adds to the deficit, thus the debt. Obama has slashed the deficit by 2/3. And reduce unemployment significantly.
