Hadn't Brexiteers been acting like bad losers since losing the 1975 referendum? By that logic should never have had 2nd ref at all

Erm.. That was for a Common Market, not a European Union oh deluded one!
-
Deluded how? For many Brexiteers democracy is fine for EU vote but not for democratic processes after. That my point

Democracy means act on the vote... Not this remain delay watered down nonsense that follows..https://twitter.com/MrPaulRhodes/status/823827044295438336 …

the judiciary is part of the democratic process. Democracy more complicated than one man one vote, oh deluded one!
-
No its not... It's a remosner like you trying to hinder democracy... End of.. Deluded..https://twitter.com/MrPaulRhodes/status/823827916995837955 …

We live in a parliamentary democracy. Laws change via act of parliament. Worked like this for hundreds of years

what puzzles me is all these wonderful lawyers fail to mention we were taken into the EU illegally without a referendum
#brexit -
The structures of the EU changed a great deal but were ratified our elected MPs following the 1975 referrendum.
-
after we were already in, UK law (magna carta) clearly states people must consent to any constitutial changes B4
-
Parliament are our democratically elected officials, you tool.
-
Every 'trade deal' we sign will bring similar obligations through other systems. Referrendum each time, Ian?
-
no not at all but if we going to allow foreign powers to inflict their laws on us at least follow our own laws
-
But UK was the effective creator of single market, with a massive qualified majority vote in the EU Council.
-
the common market (free trade area) was a good concept but it's protectionist I spent 7 yrs exporting to EU :-(
