Remoaners seem to think it's unfair of me to liken EU referendum with a by-election as referendums are one-offs & MPs elected every 5yrs 1/3

Yet new Richmond MP plans to use her by-election victory as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to block the once-in-a-lifetime EU ref decision 2/3

I think leave needs a lawyer to challenge the by-election and ask for a 2nd vote I didnt like the fact the libdem won.

It was therefore perfectly fair to question her claim to have a stronger mandate from voters to block Brexit than EU ref gave for Brexit 3/3

I use that word deliberately. Remainers accept the referendum result while Remoaners are trying to overturn it. Big difference

They're just people who disagree with you I'm afraid. They don't have any power. It's such a witless pun it embarrasses me.

no, I have no issue with people voting differently from me but they're not entitled to block the outcome if they don't like it

Shame people had no idea what they were actually voting for - but then the government had no idea either.

It seems the government are going to decide on those for themselves. Remainers largely voted for "more of the same", imho.

yes, because Remoaners are different from Remainers who lost but accept the democratic vote. Remoaners don't.
