I oppose grammars. I went to an excellent grammar, I have no children yet - but I'll hopefully be able to send them to comp.

I think that's the issue - grammars and indies pluck talent out of cohort. Comps should have big investment

that's what streams/sets are for. Some kids better at art/music/maths/sport/English etc

my comp had streams but it still meant that most of the class was not up to getting an A grade. It held brighter kids back.
