I'm on @BBCRadio4 @BBCWomansHour 10am* talking about why women shouldn't get time off work for their periods.
*Unless I get a tummy ache.
@endo_ireland yes, I am fully aware of that. And it affects only a small % of women so why do we need a policy for ALL women?

@JuliaHB1@endo_ireland Endo affects 1 in 10 fertile women. Women with PCOS and other conditions are equally common. Not a small %. -
@m_d_kerr endometriosis is one of the leading cause of infertility, so incorrect to say it affects just fertile women
-
@endo_ireland Sorry, was trying to contract "women of fertile age" into Twitter space restrictions and slipped. -
@endo_ireland (btw, I'm also Endowriter, but I keep my assorted identities separate ;) ) -
@m_d_kerr we use your endowriter blog quite a lot to refer women to!

-
@endo_ireland That's wonderful to hear! (And I should know better than to make a slip like that!) -
@m_d_kerr easy done on twitter, not to worry x :) Happy Women's Day
