Pretty much all my free speech mates (yes that is a thing) are chuffed to death on RMF today. I just don't see what they're on about.

@IanDunt I think it's a factor. Those statues were imposed on people at the time. The Rhodes statue wasn't. -

@JuliaHB1 Altho whatever the answer, it is such a bizarre moral approach - to prioritise the views of people 130 years ago over those now. -
@IanDunt no, it's doesn't prioritise, I'm saying we shouldn't remove all traces of our past, no matter how distasteful. -
