@JuliaHB1 @Emmabarnett @PatrickSawer bit odd to claim that it doesn't at least imply some sort of comparison with the *actual* Nazis

@JuliaHB1@richardosman@TomChivers@Emmabarnett@PatrickSawer What did you say earlier about not accepting alternative viewpoints? -
@catherinegee so you don't see the huge difference between accepting diff viewpoints and people being told what words they can & can't use? -
@JuliaHB1 No one told you you can't. Can you see the difference between can't and shouldn't? -
@catherinegee yes, fair point but that still doesn't have anything to do with accepting people having different viewpoints, does it? -
@JuliaHB1 So do you accept that many people, when they see the term nazi, will think you're calling feminists nazis? -
@catherinegee by the way, I am a card carrying feminist but I believe some of the silly anti-sexism campaigns give feminism a bad name. -
@JuliaHB1 I agree absolutely there. But I think the term feminazi is damaging/horrendously insensitive. Nazis were genocidal maniacs. -
@catherinegee people use the term Stalinist all the time and Stalin killed far more than Hitler. Feminazi is not the same as Nazi. - 6 more replies
