@JuliaHB1 @MikeMcKenna_ but its not the child's fault there parents had them yet u want them to suffer, b poor & reduce future life chances?
@MikeMcKenna_ no, in her TV interview, Claire did not even hint at that. I doubt it very much. Poor choices at the time.

@Dubai_allergy in what way will their children suffer or be poor? -
@JuliaHB1 if u cut benefits to children already born, is that not what u r suggesting. we have enough child poverty as it is in UK -
@Dubai_allergy their child tax credit is not being cut, just their working tax credit. They will lose £1k of their £35k annual income. -
@JuliaHB1 Losing £1000 a year is a big deal. Maybe not to you. Why punish these "hardworking families" ? Heartless and spiteful writing. -
@williamjohnbird no, it is money they don't need and I would prefer that money went to people who DO need it. Theirs is a lifestyle choice. -
@JuliaHB1 So what about the inheritance tax cut then? Having a big house is a lifestyle choice too. The Right can't have it both ways. -
@williamjohnbird you don't see the difference between how someone chooses to spend their own money & how much someone gets from taxpayer?Wow - 2 more replies
