@JuliaHB1 how do you know they're not working hard? I've got 2 kids and that's hard work and I earn a lot. We shouldn't push ppl to poverty. -
@JamsCowbell@JuliaHB1 They may be working hard but if they know they can't afford that no of kids, don't have them. Irresponsible otherwise -
@JournoJane@JuliaHB1 They managed on 'the regime' they had the kids under, I'm sure it wasn't easy, now you take that away from them. -
@JamsCowbell@JuliaHB1 They shouldn't have been relying on the state in the first place to fund their lifestyle choice. -
@JournoJane@JuliaHB1 The state is there to ensure the continuation of our nation and way of life, we all rely on the state and each other. -
@JamsCowbell@JuliaHB1 The state is a safety net for those who, despite trying, don't have enough money to support themselves. -
@JournoJane You're confusing the state and the welfare state. The state is the bureaucracy that runs our entire nation. -
@JamsCowbell Tax credits are part of the welfare state and should not be used to fund lifestyle choices. - 1 more reply
