It appears @juliaHB1's Telegraph piece is more angry about ladies with opinions than sexual violence. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@PeteyMonster of course, as should men. But is not getting blind drunk & leaving nightclubs with strange men really such an infringement?

.
@JuliaHB1 It's a double-standard. No-one tells men to not get shitfaced and go home with a stranger. -
.
@JuliaHB1 We should put less energy into shaming women and put more focus on teaching men to be treat women as people. -
@PeteyMonster we do teach men that, just as we teach people not to steal or carry knives, but it doesn't work with everyone. -
.
@JuliaHB1 We don't! I've grown up in a culture in which women are rated second-class and I ought to believe my natural superiority as a man -
@PeteyMonster have you? I've been alive 47 years and have never felt I was treated like I am second class. You should get out more. -
.
@JuliaHB1 C'mon, "You should get out more"? I thought we were beyond childish remarks here. And your experience (and mine) is not universal -
.
@JuliaHB1 Surely you can't be blind to the lived experience of women still having to fight for equal treatment in a male-dominated society?
