Latest telegraph article by @JuliaHB1 talks about pay being based on the value of what people do. What do you earn Julia?

@RMTLondon actually I said pay based on talents AND number of people able to do the job. Not quite the same, huh?

But if we knew your pay, we'd know how much more valuable than a nurse or a train driver you see yourself as being. @JuliaHB1

.@RMTLondon the reason tube drivers get paid so much is not cos so talented or cos no one else will do the job, but due to bully boy tactics

@JuliaHB1 @RMTLondon so working class people earning a decent wage in London are bully boys? Anyone else earning a decent wage is the same?

@JuliaHB1 isn't correct that a wage is paid that enables someone to live in London & work without benefits? Shouldn't we all aspire to that?

@Bestmum42 yes, we can all aspire, but doesn't justify doing what the RMT does, preventing other people going to work to get their pay rises

@JuliaHB1 strong unions & the lack of them is why our in work benefit bill is through the roof. A fair wage is not a bully boy tactic. 2/2

@Bestmum42 I think trade unions are vital but they are not paid a "fair wage". Far from it.

@Bestmum42 well, certainly less than other more skilled public sector workers. Not up to me to name the amount.

@JuliaHB1 we should aspire for all public workers to earn a wage they can live on without top up benefits. We should be looking up not down.

@JuliaHB1 do you think Tube workers would've got that wage without the RMT or do you think they'd still be on 20k'ish like bus drivers? 1/2
