@JuliaHB1 @CyclingMikey @fiend_club_ Yes, because the fact that people are dying needlessly on our roads is just hilarious, isn't it?
@IndieChris71 @CyclingMikey @fiend_club_ they are dying needlessly because, in the case of these lorry deaths, they put themselves at risk
@AlexGMac why are so few of those lorry drivers prosecuted then?
@AlexGMac the deaths involve lorries.
@AlexGMac 6 of 8 women cyclists killed in London so far this year were killed by lorries. Those stats you linked are 4 years old.
@AlexGMac ps. On a different matter, how are you all? X
@JuliaHB1 ok but come on JHB how much time do you spend on a bike. We are more sinned against than sinning @theJeremyVine @london_cycling
@reporterboy then cycling lobby demand other road users change or that roads are changed. The answer is for everyone to act sanely.
.@JuliaHB1 @reporterboy 2,000 people are killed pa by drivers. 2 pa by cyclists. Simple maths says drivers need to be 1000x more careful.
@PedroStephano no, it says that there are far more cars than bikes and that big metal boxes do more damage than a bike frame. FFS.
@JuliaHB1 so you admit that big boxes do more damage? Why then do you let them have a less culpability?!? #checkmate
@PedroStephano less culpability? On the contrary, drivers are prosecuted even when cyclist has been reckless
