@dlf48 good for you! Although I fear you'd be the one who got arrested.
@JuliaHB1 I am a committed cyclist, and I HATE fellow cyclists riding pavements. makes me as cross as you.
@JuliaHB1 It is already illegal to ride a bicycle on a pavement. The police refuse to enforce it, like many laws that are too much trouble.
@JuliaHB1 @RedHotSquirrel I did same here. @MPSMerton ended up issuing £30 on the spot fines & handing out advisory notices to offenders.
@JuliaHB1 Unfortunately, the self-righteous London media has encouraged some cyclists to believe they have a right to do what they want
. @JuliaHB1 A most splendid campaign. Not a day goes by without a holier than thou cyclist breaking rules & putting others in danger
@JuliaHB1 As a cyclist I disown any cyclist on a pavement when pedestrians are on it. Bad apples everywhere.
@JuliaHB1 I'm petrified when Grandchildren run out the gate, in case a 30 mph Cyclist in on the "Footpath".
@JuliaHB1 And you haven't even mentioned the Lycra.....
@JuliaHB1 Battle for cycle lanes. Got to be the worst country in Northern Europe for cycle lanes
@JuliaHB1 trouble with society people don't want to do nothing till it effects them
Every one can see cyclist are law breakers
@JuliaHB1 I fear you'll have long battle. Our city has pedestrian (only) precincts yet I've seen cyclists pass by policemen, they do nothing
@JuliaHB1 licence, insurance and number plates, I'd say, bloody cyclists
@JuliaHB1 we don't need licence plates for cyclists. Hammer and walnuts Julia....
@JuliaHB1 scene as there are plenty of cycle lanes there's absolutely no need to be on pavements! Thought it isn't really allowed?
@JuliaHB1 agree for adults but am not prepared to let my 9yo child cycle on some roads round our way, even with me in tow - too dangerous
@JuliaHB1 My son was hit by a cyclist on pavement when he was 6. Cyclist stopped & looked back, saw my son motionless on floor & rode off.
