Teachers, of course, are the experts on education. Which is why so many kids fail to get any half decent GCSEs after 12yrs at school. Oh.
@richardosman I had some brilliant teachers at my sixth form but sadly not all teachers are even averagely good. Cannot ignore that fact.

@JuliaHB1 My Statistics teacher would tell you that works for pretty much all averages. But I agree with you about the current debate. -
@richardosman true, but interesting that state kids at yr Uni only got in if clever parents. So what were teachers doing wrong at schools? -

@JuliaHB1@richardosman Not after the formative four years, I think. Children arriving a school still in nappies, can't talk or eat properly -
