Wouldn’t it be hilarious if the Remoaner Alliance relented and agreed to vote Boris out of No 10 to install Jeremy Corbyn in a bid to stop a No Deal Brexit and... lifelong eurosceptic Jezza then took us out on Oct 31st without a deal. Let the games commence.

we live as part of the EU so we do pay tax and getting healthcare while travelling is reciprocal people from member states share the same benefit
-
Tommy, you might find that unlike UK , in most EU countries you have to pay for certain healthcare if you live there. So they have to take out private insurance policies. But there's nothing to stop Reciprocal healthcare after we leave, unless the EU want to end it.

These youngsters who voted remain don’t know how easy life was before we joined the EU
-
OK, I'll bite, how easy was life before we joined the EU?
-
Pretty much the same as it is now except we had a fishing industry, we could make our own laws and we weren’t made to pay vast sums of money to prop up the rest of Europe
-
We do make our own laws. We benefit from the money we pay to the EU, ironically the areas that benefit the most are the strongest Leave areas which just shows an ignorance of what we've got.
-
I’m afraid we pay out far more than we get back. Yes we can make laws but also have to abide by EU laws. As few areas benefit much from the EU the “ignorant” as you patronisingly call people, obviously feel that the EU isn’t working for them.
-
There are areas that benefit massively from EU money. Also, the EU is a trading bloc, we benefit from that and we benefit from a stronger EU. Do you seriously think we've been a member all this time and got nothing out of it?
-
Yes I do. I think we can do so much better without being trapped in that regime
-
In that case you really don't know what you're talking about.

Learn facts. The EHIC card ensures you get free health care when visiting other EU countries. The Member States bill each other for this. Thus if it was you, the UK would cover the cost as they do when you are in the UK.
-
So why don't we bill the EU? Because our free health service can't be arsed.

What fact are you basing that on? After all, out means out?

Have you ever tried to get free healthcare in Europe anyway? Last time I tried and showed my European health card I was charged 50 euros for a prescription!
-
Where was that ?
-
Spain
-
Should not have happened and you should get reimbursed by your dept of health
-
Why should it not have happened? The EHIC doesn't guarantee free access to medical care in Spain.
-
On another holiday I was also charged for my young son, in Crete. I dont bother with the card anymore - I just buy good insurance!
