Iain takes a stand against people posting abuse online at Greta Thunberg: "There's something very sad and wrong with your life... You're thick. You voted Brexit and you need to have a good hard look at yourself."

This isn’t abuse!!!

It's massively vindictive and hostile though. It's intimidating in its nature. It certainly isn't the response of a normal person
-
Vindictive, hostile and intimidating? Lol. You must find a trip to the local shops very scary indeed. Get a grip.

Nice one Julia. Thanks for your reply. I do actually suffer from anxiety but still manage to get out and hold my head high. Something I think you might struggle with?

Well this one seems to be mocking her....A young girl showing strength of character and being active and constructive in her beliefs should surely only ever be encouraged rather than mocked. It just seemed unnecessary..1/2

I'm glad we werent allowed to make fools of ourselves when I was this age. We just had to "grin and bare it" when we were told the earth would be solid ice by 2000, an imminent nuclear war, with leaflets, acid rain. The media are crazy to allow this to happen - its helping no one

Is that the best you can come up with.

It's pretty darn close

One is genuine refugees. As is stated at the bottom. The other is also truthful but economic chancers.

I think you’re avoiding the point I’m making, that you can make something out of nothing should you wish. In fact your last tweet confirms it if what you say is right.

But a large part of the point I was making was that
@talkRADIO seemed to be tweeting support for Ian’s comments when another of their presenters clearpy has opposing views (but yes I understand freedom of speech before that gets a mention). Just too much negativity in the world. -
Isn't that better than everyone having the same group think options on everything?BBC and Sky and channel 4 news all seem to have the same liberal left view on everything.

That’s a response I have used many many times in reply to being labelled a racist because I voted to leave the EU. Funnily enough you tend to find they aren’t as quick coming back with an apology than they were in throwing the accusation in the first place.
