This is not BXP policy but I have always found people to be happier when the sky is blue - summer or winter. So why not get our climate scientists to change their focus to solving daytime cloud dispersal and also nighttime rain to water the plants. Joy trumps Armageddon fear.

Unfortunately that won't be possible, mostly because it sounds like your understanding of academia and the mechanisms of how peer reviewed scientific method is applied seems to have come from watching the movie The Nutty Professor..
-
If you told people 100 years ago that you can speak into a device in your hand and take moving pictures and send them to the other side of the world they would have thought you were a nutty professor too.
-
No, they wouldn’t, because the trans-Atlantic telegraph cable had been laid and the telephone invented, pilots could radio to their base, public radio was less than a decade away, moving pictures were already being shown, & people had imagination.

Videotelephony was being seriously discussed in the 1870s, although it took a while to get to a working system.

Me? Not criticising those that are trying to raise awareness, reusing single use bottles at work to make eco-bricks, offsetting any flights I make.

Good grief, what tedious and pointless claptrap.
-
Lol!! You don't like it do you.
-
Few do. Climate change cultists are this generations vegans. You never have to ask, they'll let you know!

I wonder where
@Markford64LUFC spent his last holiday? -
I'm in Lanzarote. I asked what she Was doing on the back of mocking a person who's trying to make a difference. I never declared any allegiance but I do what I can. Certainly wouldn't mock someone for trying.

I walk my dogs on the beach most days and take a plastic bag with me to fill with what I find there. Two or three times a month a team of volunteers, litter pick along the same coastline. We are all old farts, no youngsters take part except to stuff burger cartons in my hedge.
-
And the youngsters say the older generation don’t care! We can all do our bit for the environment. Take your rubbish home and recycle. It doesn’t take much.
