Most of us don’t actually have that problem. We don’t expect everyone to agree with us and yet we respect those that don’t share our views anyway. You should try it some time @BridgetPhetasyhttps://twitter.com/BridgetPhetasy/status/1160403903474622464 …

I miss the days when we could disagree about things and not hate each other.

Bullshit, Julia. A scroll through your timeline shows that you have little or no respect for those who don’t share your views. #LiarLiarPantsOnFire

Nonsense. Taking the mickey out of people and exposing hypocrisy isn’t the same as hating them. Why do you think it is?

Doesn’t mean I don’t respect them either. I actually rather like some of the people with whom I most disagree politically. I don’t call them names or abuse them. Because I respect their right to hold different views. So what’s your issue?

Is “Remoaner” a term of respect or a term of abuse?

Neither, it’s a descriptive term. Nothing abusive in it.

It is intended as - and interpreted as - a term of abuse. This has been pointed out to you countless times.

Actually, plenty of Remoaners proudly use the term about themselves. If it were a term of abuse, I wouldn’t be allowed to use it on air by Ofcom.

Balls. People take terms of abuse as a means of having a go at those who threw them in the first place.

Plenty more Remainers regard it as a term of abuse. You clearly don’t respect their views. Ofcom is toothless and not fit for purpose.
