Gosh, look at the state of this. It’s a bit like the “not my President” crowd in the USA - “if I don’t like something enough, I can make what’s true untrue just by saying so loudly enough.” “It’s not currency” - er, yes it is. And what a thing to get so upset about.https://twitter.com/dminghella/status/1160473472818196480 …

Do clarify. I’m a Remainer. How am I not (necessarily) a Remoaner?
-
Did you vote Remain but accept the result of the vote even though it didn’t go your way &, even though you don’t think Brexit is a good idea for the country, respect that this is what a majority voted for in our democracy? If so, then you’re a Remainer. If not, you’re a Remoaner.
-
Oh. Then I think pretty much all Remainers are Remoaners, as No Deal is so obviously dumb. Similarly your, if it had been 48:52, I doubt you’d have embraced joining the Euro. This is a bit “No true scotsman” isn’t it? Argue, and your opinion is discounted.

Quite right. There are millions or remainders and very few who would identify as Remoaners. In this case it is surprising that Julia talks about them quite as much as she does. And the passports is an example of a Brexit falsehood, not an obsession.
