You are both right, but in different ways. But the truth is that we do have a central cabinet of extremists who do not represent the majority of people's views - and some of whom have *very* undemocratic objectives.
-
We've found our from the likes of Cooper & Soubry that MP's aren't interested in what their constituents want. They just lie for the votes.
-
I'm not even sure most people know what they want - in any detail anyway- or if they do know, its different from what everyone else wants!

Quite right JHB, what we need more than anything is a Government which is goal oriented. The current goal is to leave EU 31.10.19, the next goal will be to be reelected with working majority, then the radically shake up Education, NHS, and North South divide. Go Boris!

Yes I know. But it does not work very well with a minority government and a split parliament. How can you be sure that the PM command a majority of MPs without asking them? It is the other way round: the PM is *not* elected (when?), but it needs a majority to get rid of him.

It’s still democratic you just don’t like how it’s done.
