Would it be terribly un-PC if I said that I’ve never suffered from mental illness but I have definitely contemplated a mass shooting on several occasions when travelling on a rush hour tube with people sniffing and playing their iPods too loud? If it is, then I won’t say it.https://twitter.com/matthaig1/status/1158459286852395008 …

What’s your goal here? People are constantly labeling conservatives as non-compassionate people who don’t think mass shootings matter. You are using your platform to do just that. It’s damaging to the pro-2A argument.

We dont have a pro-2a argument. We dont have a second amendment. We dont carry guns. We dont want you to carry guns. We think it's stupid.
-
Well,, surely being able to defend yourself, loved-ones and property are reasonable freedoms. It was in the English bill of rights which was ultimately the inspiration for the second amendment.
-
We have the Firearms Act.
-
Current regulations were not in dispute and I'm not claiming all the answers. But seems a bit rich for us to say that we think the US bill of rights are "stupid" when it's inspired by English history.
-
Pesky English. Legacies of death and destruction everywhere they quickly fled from.
