Although actually now I’m totally with you because I’ve discovered why it’s shut off. For a bike race which means I can’t cross the road and get to work. Cancel everything. It’s a nightmare.pic.twitter.com/vUKDXckaHz

Shame, isn't it, that other people's idea of a better world seems to be your idea of hell? Researchers from the future will, I'm sure, unearth mindsets such as yours and thank god for humanity that they became marginalised and eventually extinct.

Gosh! What an inconvenience! Especially when there are precisely zero other transport options in London. They really should put in some form of underground railway system or something.

If only there was some kind of below-ground rapid transit system that lazy Londoners could turn to...
-
How does that help you get from, say, Westminster tube to Victoria Street when it's Parliament Square (between the two) that's blocked off?
-
That’s two stops on the District or Circle Line.

Absolutely no reason to travel by car in London.
-
Unless you're moving house or doing a very long cross-country journey I agree
-
@pedalmeapp can you help this man move house? -
In London, for sure. Faster, cheaper and cleaner than alternatives using our big trailer.

There is almost no good reason whatsoever to drive a car in London.

People need to drive cars far less than they think they do. Use only for essential and/or longer journeys where there is no other alternative. Then, there will be plenty of room for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. I'd draw a line at these daft scooters though!

Without any training at all which anyway he would sneer at, my dog viciously attacks ‘trottinettes’ (as they’re called here) when they are ridden on footpaths. I always apologise to the shocked rider then give Billy a pat on the head and a biscuit
-
I don't understand, are you saying your dog attacks cyclists on the pavement? Is your dog able to read road signage to distinguish between pedestrian only and shared infra? Giving your dog a treat for such bad behaviour is cruelty given it could lead to them being put down
