Yes, and isn’t that WONDERFUL? All those babies not dying from malnutrition, all those people living past 35 and into their 70s? All those people who no longer die of preventable diseases, starvation and poverty? You should be thrilled. I am.

How should we go about the cull? Let the ill people die then start taking out the elderly? Or will u be pushing for a spartan approach? Any kids not deemed good enough will be thrown off a cliff? Let's hear some of your ideas.

~1 billion people are dependent on limited fossil aquifers that are running out ~1 billion people are dependent on glacial melt water globally that is also being lost fast I presume you are happy to feed, water & house the resulting immigrants here in the UK. #ClimateCrisis

You make a good point about fossil water but it's worse than that. 40% of the world agriculture is dependent upon a non-renewable resource and when it runs out, will affect everybody. This could happen in the next decade in some parts of the leading to mass migration & starvation

My point wasn't meant to be restrictive, there are many other problems which are equally urgent. Which specifically are you referring to? Soil erosion? Agricultural demand on (rainforest) deforested land? Fishmeal for livestock?

Yes it’s marvellous that 50% of children aren’t dying before their 5th birthday and more people are living into their 90s and beyond, but the level of growth of population is unsustainable and irrevocably damaging the environment and climate.

You think the western world is the problem there, do you? Where the population growth of most countries has stagnated? Really? Interesting. It's almost like you have some sort of agenda that doesn't line up with keeping population low...

Its not a west vs east, developed vs developing country problem. Its a mismatch between population and resources and offloading of environmental pollution (and the cost thereof which will soon be economically unaffordable) on the future....

Of course. You'll just ignore the point... With the exception of the United States, the vast majority of western countries live within their means with regard to resources. Certainly considerably more so than the east.

You started with a projection and a strawman and have continued with it. Your version of reality is 4 people in a room, 3 having a wee chat, 1 switching on the HCN tap to the room and the other 3 going, well we're not causing our own deaths so lets just keep chatting.
