Such lies! There is no evidence anywhere to suggest no deal will make food prices cheaper! Crashing exchange rates have already pushed them up. Tariffs after no deal & further crash of exchange rates will make it worse. You are a shameless liar!pic.twitter.com/hLUy7a96NT

We will be able to cut tariffs on food coming from outside the EU, which we are currently not allowed to do under the protectionist rules of the common market
-
Not this bollocks again. Does your brain freeze when it faces a fact? The EU has ZERO internal tariffs and the lowest import tariffs IN THE WORLD.pic.twitter.com/FtEDvEc0o2

I find tweets by professional gobshite Julia Heartless-Tory work best if you imagine her saying them in a tone of smug condescension, as if she's an expert and everyone else is a f*cking idiot. Of course, the opposite is invariably true. This tweet being no exception.
-
I see Julia Humbug-Bollocks has lost her tiny mind again. The sooner it goes permanently missing the better for all of us. I can clearly visualise JHB & Pritti Patel, both lost in deep space searching for the last vestiges of any grey matter they may once possibly have possessed.

We're in the EU and food prices are exorbitant, had a twitter chat the other day asking why the heck is Welsh lamb so expensive, I live 80 miles away from Wales and still can't afford it, grateful for any answers, add Scottish beef to that, ta

-
Same with clothing Sadie. Remember when
@marksandspencer clothing all used to be made in Great Britain and sold at low prices, That's why people liked them. Now their clothing are all imports and prices went up... Then they closed stores down

Note that very few Leavers are millionaires. Some 5 million live in (what used to be) Labour's northern heartlands. They are prepared to pay the price (if any) of Brexit because they believe that EU membership is (on balance) bad for this country and/or bad for them individually.
-
Largely because they are xenophobic
-
One expression of the fundamental (and fundamentally antidemocratic) Remainer theme: Leave voters are odious, ignorant untermenschen whose votes (opinions and interests) can and should be ignored by us virtuous democrats.
-
No I said most are xenophobic and they are. Those other words are yours and used as a smokescreen. That’s pretty odious. I’ve not met a single leaver that has a decent argument for leave. Seems to always boil down to immigration and perceived foreign power over them. Nonsense
-
Leave voters do object to their county becoming a province of the EUropean superstate and to uncontrolled and unsustainable immigration. That does not make them xenophobes. They have as much right to live in an independent, democratically-goverened country as anyone else.
-
They do already. Have a read of boris’ pro remain article he wrote days before defecting to leave for selfish ambitionshttps://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/boris-johnsons-article-backing-britains-future-in-the-eu-a3370296.html …

How will it?
-
Because we currently have to pay tariffs on food from the EU which we won’t have to when we’ve left because they won’t be imposing their laws on us. We have to pay tariffs in childrens clothes too under EU legislation
-
Moreover UK will be free to import from non-EU counties with 0 tariffs if we choose. In general food prices RoW food prices are lower than EU. Because it EU protects its farmers from outside competition & the restriction of supply leads to higher prices. 101 Economics.
-
And also the big wig business owners get bigger profits and bigger bonuses which is the main reason they oppose brexit greed
-
Did you mean ‘ ...brexit greed’ or ‘... brexit. Greed!
