@vivamjm That may not be as easy as you suggest. There are permits for the driver, then permits for all the load and the pallets the load is stacked on and the lorry itself. What about the format of the forms? Have they complied with all the regulations? Non Tariff Barriers.

They will never give up on Project Fear. If we do eventually get out of the EU I can guarantee that for every negative thing that happens, regardless of the true cause, these moaning bastards will blame it on Brexit for years to come. It’s a sickness they have.
-
Why don’t they ask people that bring goods in and out of Europe every single week... I do, and it’s no different now!! So stop the project fear!! Why not talk about the value of the pound weakening because we are still in the EU...

Why wouldn’t they have the right paperwork anyway? Have we been illegally exporting for all these years and we’re about to get rumbled?

GIF’d? Seriously? That’s your erudite response that I’M an idiot ...

The person you are conversing with has blocked me and as far as I know I have never spoken to her. Some Remainers are truly bizarre!pic.twitter.com/boR5WCwBdq

I trust the ferries won’t let uk-bound lorries on board without the right paperwork, too.
-
No they won't, so this will also impact the import of things. Have you seen any articles along those lines perhaps?

Seemed to work OK for the past few hundred years before the EU /common market... Oh I forgot life ends without the EU.

The really big changes came with SITPRO, the simplication of International Trade Procedures. This is ratified by the UN, not Europe.
