So Sir John Major isn’t only a failed Prime Minister, someone who sold out his country to the EU and who doesn’t respect democracy, he’s also a huge hypocrite. You just couldn’t make this stuff up...https://twitter.com/nmdacosta/status/1148869542568955905 …

Feel the need to point out that the last tactical prorogation of Parliament, for political means and to avoid Commons looking at something in more depth was by John Major to avoid the publication of a Cash for Access report when the House was sitting, leaving to long gap till GE

You really need to check the facts before spouting bullshit. You have to prorogue parliament to hold an election anyway. That's a nothing like proroguing parliament to avoid the will of a majority of elected MPs.pic.twitter.com/x0DszKF2Br

Yes I did, and yes I do. When Major prorogued parliament, it was for an election. They linked the other issue, but you have to prorogue for an election anyhow. That is not the same thing as BJ’s intention is it? So how can it be hypocritical of Major?

It never ceases to amaze me that Major is held up as some expert on fiscal matters. His 12- 15% interest rates as chancellor and PM cost some of my good friends their homes. I had to leave a job I liked to chase money & work in a godawful place just to keep a roof over our heads.

Sorry to point out a massive, inconvenient fact Julia but in 1992, Mr Major won the biggest popular vote in a General Election, since WW2. Some loser?

I recommend two books - 101 uses for a John major and it's sequel 101 further uses for a John Major - they really show how this grey, hypocritical, unfaithful, two faced non entity could have been of some use, instead he became prime Minister diminishing the office immeasurably.

How is he a failed Prime Minister? Bringing peace to Northern Ireland? Creating the opportunity for British citizens to expand their horizons and live and work in a myriad of European countries INCLUDING MY FAMILY? You really are an unpleasant, unprofessional troll.
