Any Tory leadership candidate who puts the Union first has absolutely no intention of delivering Brexit.https://twitter.com/RuthDavidsonMSP/status/1143890906879315968 …

Your position is clear. I have no desire to prevent the Scots, the Irish and the Welsh from leaving if they wish; it is their democratic right. But it brings my country, and the country my father and his father served to an end, and Brexit caused it.
-
Actually, the EU caused it...... back door federalisation....
-
We signed all the treaties it was hardly by the back door. And we have been exempt from the bulk of it.

You know, I think the best way to assess the logic of this stand you are taking is to take a look at who is pissed off at you and who is clapping. Pro-Brexit Unionists of all 4 corners are pissed off. Remoaner, republican socialists of all 4 corners are clapping.
-
Maybe that's why Scotland's Unionists are so ineffectual?

That is only irrelevant if you consider yourself English or Scottish. I have always considered myself to be British.

U miss the point breaking up the most successful union ever will have consequences for all parts would u have suggested that the U.K. abandon ULSTER when it’s people’s were brutally shot and bombed but fought to stay in the union don’t let nationalism win anywhere
-
SNP are trying to muster the same hatred.
-
They r worse I’ve been in NI and I can tell u even in republican west Belfast they do not complain about flags on grapes or boycott business just because the owners is a unionist SSNP
-
If they keep spreading this hatred rhetoric it won't be long until extremists become violent.
-
Things have already happened but the SNP have not mentioned any of it let alone condemn I can only assume they condone IT
-
What a horrible little world you live in.

Incorrect

I'm fairly sure there are tons of things that happen in the world that
@theSNP don't like but don't mention. Same goes for all the other political parties, by the way. Don't all of them see them improving hostile environments or fighting racism, instead of feeding it. - 3 more replies

The majority of Scots want to remain in UK.
-
I reckon that may have changed

Julia, Scotland was told to vote for the union if they wanted to remain in the eu. They voted to stay in the union but it seems they were betrayed by brexit

Silly, air-headed journos & tabloid bimbettes have, for way too long, been given far too much credence. It’s as though folks have forgotten that Julia is an expert in precisely nothing, yet her dumb followers cling on to her brain farts as though The Voice of Reason has spoken.

So you are completely sanguine about a vote for Boris Jophnson being a vote to end the Union? First by the Tory party membership, then by the UK electorate?
