Sorry for this tweet earlier. I’ve been accused of watering down my criticism of homeopathy. That’ll be £40 please.https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1143830234766200833 …

There is no such thing as the successful use of homeopathy, cattle or not. It is categorically proven to be complete bull shit. Anyone claiming otherwise is lying, it's as simple as that. It's a pseudoscience that directly contradicts everything we know about the natural world.

In these small/poorly controlled studies there was observed differences in mastitis between groups, but correlation=/=causation. Honestly, looking at studies around this is a waste of time when the base of homepathy is the law of similars and dilution = increase in potency.....

The founder believed that diluting the active ingredient in water released the 'vital energy' of the substance, back in the 1700s. The problem with modern homeopathy is that the solutions are so diluted they don't contain any of the ingredient molecules anymore. Its just water.

They have a made up dilution scale called 'C scale' that represents how many times something has been diluted. Eg, 1C = 1:10 ratio, 2C = 1:100 ect...this goes up to 200C where the ratio is 10−400 (power of) A popular 'flu pill' is 200C, it's 100% sugar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscillococcinum …

I cannot understand how producers of homeopathic remedies can make any money since their products are just water. Even if you bought the first vial then all you have to do when it's nearly run out is to top it up with water. It'll be even more powerful then.
