Well, if there’s one thing the #ENGCAM game proves, we are now talking about women’s football in exactly the same way we talk about men’s football. I’d call that progress...

The only difference being that women's football reminds me of watching my son's team play on Sundays. Problem is, he's five.

Ladies soccer is just as exciting as the man's game, the only things lacking, well known names and packed stadia

It wasn't brilliant but the women's game is often as entertaining as the mens.

🤣🤣 100% Julia, shame the Cameroon players couldn't show any professionalism on the pitch...the @Lionesses along with Phil Neville deserve great credit

A lot of under or overweighted passing though. They couldn't seem to keep control of the ball a lot of the time.

I was critical of that during the game. I'm sure Neville and the team will focus and look at the game more closely next couple of days. Today was after the 1st contentious decision a very difficult environment and overall they coped well 2nd half

Have women footballers learned to fall over for no reason and roll around in mock agony?

I don’t even think of it as women’s and men’s - if the players are talented and the game is good then it’s all footy to me 👍

That's not true, it's far better to watch. The quality of the football makes Barcelona vs Real Madrid look like Scunthorpe vs Millwall.
