This is the style of politics you have been pushing! Mental isn’t it!

When did I do that? Explain
-
Oh, come now - surely the slew of responses expressing surprise at agreeing with you on something lend some hint. Perhaps you are grossly misunderstood, but it has generally seemed that you tend to stoke the politics of division, and to take the “hard” position on many issues.
-
And yet the picture remains confused. You’ve just retweeted
@toadmeister saying that the public disclosure of this information was wrong, yet you say Dale’s questions are perfectly reasonable. Those questions would not be being asked were it not for that same disclosure.

There are 2 people involved & for
@carriesymonds privacy as much as anyone else’s he has a right to plead the fifth. Why should he answer? For our entertainment? I don’t care about a private row. Can he do good for the UK? That’s all that matters! -
He's not on trial and he's not in the US so he doesn't have to plead anything.
-
I meant ‘plead the fifth’ metaphorically but you understood that

It has origins in English law - Nemo tentetur seipsum prodere (or nemo tentetur seipsum accusare)—“no man is bound to accuse himself.” http://apps.americanbar.org/abastore/products/books/abstracts/5090120chap1_abs.pdf …pic.twitter.com/qTnQX2ktQQ

Surely questions about what he plans to do as PM are more important than his personal life?
-
Problem is he can’t answer those either
-
Then that’s a problem indeed but leave out the personal stuff.

Not extraordinary. It’s his private life.
-
Police matter should not stay private for our PM
-
Police say no crime commited so it wasn't
-
Unfortunately the rules are different when you want to be prime minister
-
He had the police maliciously called on him by a voyeur who recorded him at home and sold it to the guardian...all things considered he’s being very sanguine about it I’d say.
-
Ridiculous tweet. Neighbours even knocked several times to check they were ok but no answer. Of course u call the police. 2 women killed every week through domestic violence.
-
Of course the neighbours word is gospel. Then they call the guardian, Yer right....
