Holland is the place where I went to learn how to improve our radiotherapy techniques to deliver better outcomes for cancer patients. We have lots to learn from other nations. British exceptionalism is a dangerous disease, which will only damage us, Julia

Just seen this. What a bizarre tweet. It’s a lovely country. That doesn’t mean the PM of that country should reprimand British voters for their freely chosen democratic decisions. Bugger all to do with believing the UK is superior. But you’re clearly a clever man so you knew that

Julia, a few points. Mark Rutte wasn’t reprimanding British voters. He was simply giving his long held views on Brexit. IMHO, your original post was clearly intended to diminish the importance of what he was saying by demeaning the nation of Holland (Netherlands) #FFS

He’s not reprimanding though is he? He’s giving a personal opinion on something. I don’t remember you calling out Trump for ‘reprimanding the British public for voting for something’ when he banged on and on endlessly about Khan.

How does being sad at what he sees as the consequences of Brexit equate to reprimanding British voters?

I do enjoy seeing her floundering around replying to people calling her out on her BS. Normally people run away quickly when they they leave a flaming bag of turd tweet like this, Julia owns it instead

The Dutch PM has had an awful lot more experience of dealing with the fallout from Brexit than you braying Brexiters.

I feel he was merely giving an honest opinion of what he really thinks about it, (quite refreshing I'd say) rather than reprimanding us. But besides that, why couldn't he reprimand us? Plenty of other world leaders reprimand other nations.

It wasn’t a reprimand but his reflection on the policy of national self harm. Are you ok with Trump trash talking the UK, his exaggerated claims about the NHS (purely for his domestic political agenda)?

The "educated" are blind to their own "exceptionalism. There is decades of material for research into this sort of self-indulgent numptyism.

He doesn't say that he hates Brexit voters, that's disingenuous and you know that. I'm sure in the same way you hate remain, but wouldn't see that as 'reprimanding' remain voters. But I'm not sure what I was expecting from an ignorant tosser like yourself.

Describing the consequences of a decision isn’t a “reprimand” unless you are in denial about those consequences
