She doesn’t look *that* young...

Clearly a lot younger than your 50 something years by a good few decades, though. You couldn't possibly be jealous, could you, Julia?
-
I'll take that as a yes - jealousy is an ugly thing, talk it through with your therapist ms. Waitrose Hopkins.

Professional protestors know exactly what they are doing. All the media attention they have created has been a successful outcome. If they can get a ministerial scalp, that will be icing on the cake. Most reasonable people are sick to the back teeth of them causing disruption.

He would have reacted the same way had it been a man. Women protesters should not think they have licence to get away with things just because they are female and expect to get preferential/deferential treatment
-
Yeah right, like those Men who sat stuck to their seats while another Woman, Mrs May was approached on Stage. Yep those brave Men all jumped into action. And they did not and it took place right in front of them.
-
Not "like those Men." Mark Field was one of those men.
-
Mark Field saw red Mist, that's what he saw. He was aware they were from Greenpeace, because they had announced it.

Nothing like the Sisterhood. Women beaters are ok as long as they are on the right.

Just about sums it up. Julia Heart of Granite will always defend Tories against anyone, even those trying to get us all to take the disintegration of our planet seriously. She's a leg end in her own mind. She's basically a gossip turn for Tories!!!

Agreed. Is it physical and heavy handed? Hell yes (it might or might not be justifiable). Is it fair to liken this man to an abuser of women, from this one single clip. Hell No. Where is any sense of proportion? I despair.
-
Unfair to mow make him a Wife Beater. Totally uncalled for.
-
All sense of perspective and proportion lost already.

I’m sorry, but as a man I could never imagine doing what he did. I have to ask myself what sort of person he must be and the only conclusion I can come to is that he is the very angry, aggressive type prepared to vent that anger on those weaker physically than himself
-
Or maybe he reacted to what he thought was a threat. And given attacks on MPs largely who can blame him
-
Utter bullshit. A flimsy after the fact justification for a straight forward assault, put forward by people so broken by politics and Twitter that they long ago lost any sense of decency and can only process any event based on how it effects their side in the culture war
-
No that’s incorrect. In law if you believe there is a threat even if it turns out there’s not then you were still justified in using reasonable force.pic.twitter.com/5wBATI8T6R
