Let’s just assume for a moment that the woman’s purpose (or a another individual) was to assassinate a government minister. She breezed in and had plenty of time to commit the crime. Isn’t the story here the lack of security that gave someone a potential opportunity?

The woman could have been a Jo Brand fan and have had a bag of acid in her hand. In all seriousness, she could have...What then would have been the cry if she had and had thrown it over Hammond? “Why did nobody stop her!!?” Excellent reactions.

Uh-huh, Julia, milkshakes are criminal assault, but choking, slamming and shoving are not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Clear as mud.pic.twitter.com/kYnZxIs1EJ

The most fucked up thing is he should be being immensely praised. He spotted a threat and dealt with it while everyone else watched on. Had she had a knife visible people would be falling at his feet. You never know what people are hiding. He dealt with it bravely imo.

Imagine this headline Climate change activist stabs woman at dinner while MPs sit and do nothing.

It is time that the Eco Loons realise that although many people agree with some of their arguments their behaviour has gone beyond reasonable discussion. Last night proved that once again.

Robert Preston claims police believed it was a peaceful protest. Why did he get up, no one else did, he wasnt' threatened. He over reacted badly

All bollocks. Unless Mansion House has changed, everybody has to go through a metal detector - no chance of any kind of weapon. The look on Field's face says it all. His letter telling the Met police to treat protesters 'with a firm hand' Oh, and this photo - Hunt's wifepic.twitter.com/imOQvDoFlR

@ajcdeane for heavens sake. I’ve watched the video clip and@MarkFieldUK did nothing wrong. He doesn’t need to apologise. He reacted quickly to a potential threat unlike the others who just sat there. The women in red shouldn’t have been there. End of!Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Luckily Mark Field didn’t throw a milk shake over her Julia. That would of been a lot worse than grabbing her by the neck, eh Julia.

If some MP handled a Brexiteer protester, you can forget about the royal treatment of the BBC. The globalists truly hate the country.pic.twitter.com/dPBtAc75m7

thinking of the myriad ways he could march her out and keeping her at arms length might have been his thinking. might have stuck my foot out or pushed my chair back to block her. Any of the above would have been decried. Let her thru? the answer my friend is blowing in the wind

I note with interest that
@ajcdeane fails to make a comparison with the man that invaded@EstherMcVey1 press conference & preached from the podium unmolested. I wonder if Mark Fields instinctive reaction is limited to women in cocktail dresses & heels ... -
If this had been a man waving a knife, would Field have tackled him?, probably be under the table.

If Mark Field had 'disarmed and disabled' her, and had her face on the floor with his knee on her back, maybe it would warrant the level of comments against him. It isn't as bad as it's being made out. I've seen Club Doormen do worse, for less. Rough but blown out of proportion..
