      If only the person who owned and was responsible for it had been able to prevent someone who was intoxicated and had no knowledge or experience to pilot it while going way over the speed limit...

          I know, sorry didn't mean to sound pedantic. Did it crash because there was a catastrophic failure, or did she just crash it because she was wasted?

          They were both intoxicated. She shouldn't have been piloting it. He's therefore responsible for allowing her to, knowing she'd been drinking.
