The 1st time I ever heard the word “Londonistan” was by a Muslim journalist friend c2002 who said it was commonly used by Islamic extremists in the UK in reference to how easy it was for them to operate freely in our country. Bugger all to do with Sadiq Khan - not even an MP then

That said, I’m pretty sure Katie Hopkins and Donald Trump deliberately used “Londonistan” as a not-so-subtle attack on Sadiq Khan being a Muslim. But the word has a long established meaning already.

And also, it’s got bugger all to do with knife crime in London too - hence why it’s clear Hopkins and Trump were using the term Londonistan as a way to attack Khan simply for being Muslim.

          1. French intelligence were first to dub us Londonistan in the '90s when links found between our capital & terrorist attacks in Paris. 2. No fan of Trump but I'm pretty sure all he tweeted was Khan was a disaster & we needs a new mayor. 1/2

          3. Unless he opened up the full tweet (which I doubt), he wouldn't even have seen Hopkin's reference to Londonistan. So do at least do a bit of research before jumping on the anti-Trump bandwagon. Mayor Khan has had too easy a ride over crime 2/2

This is rubbish. It's common parlance among people who have felt they were forced out of their areas by aggressive Islamic communities that have cropped up in many parts of London, especially the East End. Many of you up there are in denial about what's going on at ground level.

You'll find it is commonly used for places up and down the country i.e. Bradistan for example. The religion of peace laugh at how easy it is to take over and demographics don't lie.

Julia, the French coined it as a term to describe London, which they saw as a safe harbour for Islamist terrorists!

No I call it Londonistan all the time. It’s not being racist. My area looks like Mogadishu tbh but Somalianstan doesn’t work. Btw Julia Somalian mums sending sons home to stop them getting murdered on London streets. That’s how bad it is.
