Another Sunday morning, another Remoaner on my telly (it’s @hilarybennmp’s turn today) calmly talking about how he plans to overthrow the democratic vote for Brexit because he doesn’t like it & being treated as a wise statesman rather than the extremist he actually is. Sigh.

If only we had a way to find out for sure, like... err... asking the people to vote on it. We could call it a people’s vote.
-
Which we had.
-
Let's have a legal vote next tine
-
Yep, one in which there’s no cheating, overspending, use of dark money, foreign influence and theft of data.
-
And Leave=No-deal on the ballot instead of a deliberately undefined option. Less room for Leaver BS then.
-
What was the defined option for remain? The status quo was never an option as article 13 shows, our membership has already changed. So please: What reforms did they promise to seek? What mechanism would they use to implement them? What would we do if said reforms are not achieved
-
Art 13 will be a boon for our artists, musicians, writers etc. The ‘Remain’ option was on the status quo, so any changes proposed now, or in the future, would be debated and voted on in the usual manner. Art 13 is in its early stages, to be debated over the next 2 years.

Maybe. We can't know it for sure unless we have a confirmatory referendum. Any government couldn't deliver no deal with this level of division in the country.
-
We had a confirmatory referendum... it was the referendum. Unless, of course, we are to have a confirmatory Peterborough by election, or confirmatory general election every time we have one of those.
-
Brexit is not a general election that happens every 5 years. We have to be 100% sure that we still want brexit. A lot of people are
#remainernow. -
No it wasn’t. But it was made perfectly clear that it was a once in a lifetime vote and the result would be upheld. But people still look for ways to overthrow the largest voting mandate in British history.
-
There are 12 investigations under way. The referendum was tinted. The public opinion is against no deal.
-
It was indeed tainted... not least by a barrage of lies and scaremongering by remain MPs and others (I could list a few if you like) and a £9million bill for a remain leaflet from the government paid for by the British public.
-
Perfectly declared money. Not dark money like leavers used. The brexit trend is much closer to what remainers predicted. Also there are 12 investigations under way. The truth will come out.
-
Oh god, this is pathetic. I will never drill through the wood. I’m done now.

Lot more do, look at polls
-
That would be the same polls that showed a conservative majority when May called the Election ???
-
Well May didn't win given that had to ask the DUP. The government has a working majority of 5. Do you think that it is enough to deliver no deal?
-
Not if you take into account Tory remainers and those opposed to no deal.
-
True. Plus the Dup said it over and over that they want a deal as they know that a no deal would bring a border poll.
