We leave on the 31st October. How's that for legal agreements?

I don't think she does want to speak freely. From what I heard about this case, it is very complicated and messy. Sleeping dogs and all that.

that right, Julia, it's a sort of 'don't say anything I don't like' deposit that you can return at any time.

Think "public interest" surpasses this! Disclose and see if he sues! Easy for me to say as not my money!

So if you've got the money you can avoid justice and offend again if the initial victim needs the cash.

Not sure that’s how an NDA works

-
People are paid not to talk, if they talk they’ll be sued for that money back. If they want to talk they can accept that will happen, which is ostensibly the same thing as what Julia said
-
No because they won’t just be sued for the money they received they’ll also be sued for breach of contract, legal costs etc

What about the public’s right to know of anything that even needs a NDA from a public servant

On principle should a prospective leadership candidate have a NDA? I think not.

No, you can’t just unilaterally unwind a contract.
-
If he broke the law is their a contract that stops him being done?
-
Not in respect of him being prosecuted for a criminal act. But if there’s a contractual agreement for her to not comment publicly on a matter in exchange for a payment, she can’t undo that contract simply by sending the money back.
-
Similarly, if you sold your car, you couldn’t change your mind later and demand it back just by returning the payment.
