Oh, because 6,000 people like a tweet, that means it’s right. Sorry, I must have missed that memo @a_leesha1. “Women of colour” don’t get more scrutiny than, say, “men who are white”. They are just held to the same standards. As they should be. Or do you think they shouldn’t be? https://twitter.com/a_leesha1/status/1137666753058750465 …

Let’s put that to the test then shall we? In May 2017, Diane Abbott made a gaffe about police numbers. You tweeted incessantly, and still take the piss now. Weeks later, Phil Hammond makes a gaffe about The cost of HS2, to the tune of £20bn. Zilch, nada, not a bloody peep.

Oh dear, those weren’t remotely the same level of gaffe. Diane made it clear for some minutes that she didn’t have a clue about the numbers, Hammond (and I am definitely no fan of his) simply made a single slip of the tongue. No one thought he didn’t know the correct number.

That fact that you think that is evidence in support of Aleesha’s point is laughable.

What about the sisterhood, Julia, or is Diane the wrong kind of sister?

Sorry, do all women have to defend all other women all the time in order to be feminists?
