Diane was mocked for drinking alcohol at lunchtime on a public train - in breach of TfL rules. Not sure what’s racist about that? Kate didn’t have to resign because of her son’s drug conviction. It was because she LIED about writing to the judge & paid him to work in her HoC 1/

Do you try to be a patronising, condescending bitch in every tweet or does it just come naturally? White men being given a rub on the back for their class A drug usage doesn’t need spelling out to you, try putting those brain cells to extra hard work Julia.

Funny how you totally ignore the comparative point about the media indulging *white* poshboy Tory MPs' wrongdoings... Wonder why that could possibly be?

Very brave of you to admit your lack of understanding so publicly, Julia. Not many people would have the guts to say something so cringeworthy without fear for how stupid and myopic they may appear. Bravo to you for simply not caring.

Can’t recollect any ‘white’ people using the race card when being criticised!

She's pointing to an evident double standard within the British political and media establishment (because Gove has been treated very differently from Abbott and Osamor) and is suggesting racism is at the root of this double standard. It's not that difficult to grasp.
-
It isn’t. She’s throwing the race card. Again. As she has done again and again. By using false equivalences. Again.
-
Abbott was criticised and apology was demanded for doing something that wasn't even unlawful while Gove is praised for "honesty" despite admitting to use of an illegal substance and despite his hypocrisy on drug-use. I support decriminalisation but there's a double standard here.
-
What was gove at the time? What was Abbott? Even if there is a double standard (god knows there are a few on the left as well as the right), that’s a world of difference between that and calling it racist.
-
Gove ‘was’ a White male Tory. Abbott ‘was’ a Black woman Labour MP. Seems somewhat obvious tbh.
