This is ridiculous. She did a nasty thing. She’s been publicly shamed for it. She’s said sorry. Now everyone please move on and leave her alone. We’re better than this. “More than 1,300 people sign petition urging the NHS to sack protester.”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7111533/More-1-300-people-sign-petition-urging-NHS-sack-protester.html …

Well it's my issue. She abused a grandfather which led to an angry mob attacking him. She deserves all she gets, otherwise she'll be out at the next march doing the same thing.
-
Plus, you've already commented how the police do nothing, so how is she supposed to learn how to behave?https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1135911786920570880?s=19 …

The police should have stepped in to prevent the violence and abuse in the first place
-
But they don't and these people know it. It's why they feel they can take liberties. Why would they wear masks if they were not looking to break the law?

The only reason she’s sorry is because she has been named and shamed!
-
She wasn’t bothered about that 5 foot part time police officer...or the fella being beat up by a mob...she’s hasn’t apologised to either of them..

I would like to find out what area of mental health she works in and in what role.....dementia, autism etc... I witnessed verbal abuse at residents in an EMI nursing home from care assistants, reported it but it wasn’t dealt with correctly by the manager

It’s not so much how we respond, but how people like this (who’re turning our society into a vicious place) need to learn this is not acceptable. They do it because they get away with it. Until it’s stopped theyll continue to do so. A line needs to be drawn. This is it..

That was verbal abuse. Just look at that contorted face. It’s nasty, it’s evil, practically frothing at the mouth.
-
It was more than that...maybe incitement of a crowd,or hate speech..or even both...

Don’t think siobhan’s apology would have been given if there had not been such a backlash to her abhorrent behaviour. She should not be involved with mental health should be a patient

The right always takes the moral high ground - which is exactly why far left extremists are able to behave like this because there is no penalty. Only if the right fights fire with fire might this ever stop. They raged about Toby Young for a week over a tweet.

She’s a mental health worker I’m sorry but I wouldn’t want someone like that around any family or friend having issues

People need to realise that their actions have consequences.....her behaviour was tantamount to Hatespeech!
-
She fully realises that & has apologised for her actions, there were others there far worse than her, she didn't throw a milk-shake over anyone.
-
Nice to hear there was an apology! Hopefully we get back to some semblance of civility going forward
