New ONS data today revealed that an estimated 2.4million people in the UK in 2017 were in poverty, despite having jobs. That is a terrifyingly large amount of people, and something that should be reflected in the way that we think about our country.https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/24-million-people-in-the-uk-are-in-poverty-despite-having-jobs_uk_5cf8c5bee4b0638bdfa4b29d?ncid=other_twitter_cooo9wqtham&utm_campaign=share_twitter …

If the hours were available!!! Your tweets should be accurate!!!
-
Why do you think they’re not?
-
Through my work!!!
-
Haha. Posh rich Julia Hartley Brewer totally owned by someone with actual life experience! Love it.
-
Bit embarrassing that you think that tweet “owns” anyone. Oh, and I’ve done more jobs than you’ve had hot dinners
-
Then how come you’ve the idea than a worker has power to ask for and just get more hours and do more pay???
-
You'll be waiting a long time for a response to that from that dumbo.

Evidence? No didn't think so
-
Official govt figures on the hours worked by those claiming various benefits bear this out
-
Ah of course 'official govt figures'

-
Yeah, because those are so much less accurate than just mere hearsay
-
You've made a series of statements unsupported by evidence or data. That is hearsay.
-
Blimey not only a boring middle aged man but a sandwich short of a picnic. Julia states the source of her numbers. You not liking the source is irrelevant. Go check it out yourself.
-
The article quotes numbers from the ONS. That's a source. 'Official govt figures' is not. Which govt, what figures? (You're right about the boring bit though)
