Walkouts due to pay talks. How many pay increases do they expect during a year. Overpaid as it is.

Our troops can man fire engines when they strike - we need to train soldiers to operate a tube train so this regular blackmail of London is ended.

It's not like they're underpaid. Tube drivers are the most obscenely overpaid of all public sector workers (outside of Whitehall and parliament).

If you think the ratio of pay to workload and stress is so good then I urge you to apply.

Who's bitching about the place. I'm stating train drivers on the tube are grossly overpaid. And for what it's worth, I've lived in London, doing important work for UK defence in charge of a team of 30. But more pressure than pushing a button, and paid a lot less than £60k!

Don't worry when @SadiqKhan gets elected we won't have any more tube strikes, increase in tube fares or Crossrail delays.

This is bollocks, tell them that they are installing driverless trains give them five years to get them up and running, give them £300k redundancy but if they miss one day through strike action they will be sacked and lose it all.
