Just say the word NO and walk on by. Brightly coloured packets don't make me buy them. Kids get treats for good behaviour. Life lesson.

There are indeed many sensible parents out there. I do not know any parents that give in to their children when they demand sweets or items. However, I do know a couple sets of parents whom do let their children rule the rooste, their state and mind set clearly why they give in!

I eat 80% of the sweets my kids get, that other bloody people keep buying them! And more importantly I tell them and eat them in front of them!

No always meant 'NO!' in my family. And if you got a bit gobby, you got a clip round the ear. Happy days, they were. You knew where you stood.

So when was the last time u shopped in supermarkets like Asda, Tesco etc.? Also it shores up the reality that as well as bringing back technical apprentices, basics like food & nutrition should be included. It is science.
