Obviously it’s the Tories who choose the leader of their party, as would Labour etc just happens that as Tories are in Govt then their leader becomes PM. Electorate vote for their party or MP they don’t necessarily choose PM

Of course the Conservatives should choose their own leader. I don’t remember having a say when labour chose corbyn. Ridiculous question to ask

If people wanted to vote for the next PM it was simple: join the Tory party!

I think Jess Philips has already claimed it, she did say she wouldn't allow Boris to become PM. I mean she wouldn't say that if she couldn't actually do anything would she.

I can't wait for the result and the look on their face when the other candidates ask for a peoples vote because they didn't know what they were voting for.

We’ll vote for a leave candidate, then everyone will say we didn’t know what we were voting for and push for another vote. We’ll keep voting and voting until everyone gets tired and
@RoryStewartUK becomes PM. That ladies and gentlemen is our wonderful democracy

Parliament decides the next PM. They can vote no confidence if they wish.

I tweeted earlier : Members don’t choose the next PM, they choose the next leader of the Conservative Party - just as Labour members chose the Leader of the Opposition. May clinging to being PM like a limpet was down to the weakness of the 1922 committee & the ‘once a year’ rule.

Makes no difference, if it plans out like it looks, they will not be in the post more than a couple of weeks. Still time to damage this once Great Country even more than May already has.
