But let’s not have a total liar as PM, chosen by 125000 mainly elderly people, many of whom voted for Farage last week, but who claim a @peoplesvote_uk would be an affront to democracy https://twitter.com/RoryStewartUK/status/1133783862792859648 …

I think you’ll find that 57 is the average age of the Young Conservatives. Happy to help.

Usually with age comes a little more wisdom. When you're 21 you know it all, 31 you think you know it all, 41 you're beginning to wonder what you know, 51 you know you knew bugger all in the first place, 61 you realise no one else knew anything either..

Yeah, apparently crazy things like "experience" and "knowledge" are overrated but it's leavers who reject experts. Maybe just when those experts lie and exaggerate fear predictions (and are then forced to admit it).

Being an expert doesn't mean being correct either, especially where it comes to prophecising about the future. The CBI said the UK SHOULD join the Euro, as did most other experts. That decision to join the ERM led to recession, unemployment, and a crash in house prices

I am so tired of this ageism. Replace the word elderly with black and see if you think this is an acceptable comment.

We don’t claim a peoples vote or second Referendum would be a affront to democracy it would be full stop. Either of those dirty deeds would be be more than serious and bring this Country down to a shocking anything goes level, and most definitely the death of Democracy.
